The Pro Carton Young Designers Award 2023 is open for entries!

The Pro Carton Young Designers Award (PCYDA) competition is aimed at all design students in Europe who are not working as professionals. Focusing exclusively on cartonboard, the award plays a pioneering role in promoting sustainable packaging and innovation amongst students across Europe.

If you are a student that is working on packaging design this academic year or are still looking for a fun course assignment, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Students can enter their cartonboard designs in four categories:

• Cartonboard Packaging | Food & Drink: The focus here lies on cartonboard as the most sustainable packaging material for food and beverages as well as its recyclability. Give us a taste of great design!
• Cartonboard Packaging | All Other – excluding Food & Drink: This category focuses on using the most sustainable packaging material for non-food packaging. Everything needs packaging: take a look around you and get inspired!
• Creative Cartonboard Ideas: Think outside the box! Here is a chance for you to put forward your cartonboard ideas for beyond the packaging market.
• Sustainability Award: Show us your ideas as to how cartonboard can reduce or replace plastic and help us protect nature!
