Packaging Dialogue 2025: Are ecology and economy opposites?

This year's Packaging Dialogue 2025 was dedicated to a topic that will shape our future and that of our companies: Sigrid Stagl, socioeconomist and Scientist of the Year 2024, outlined the "transformation to a resilient, sustainable economy." Following this, the event focused on opportunities and possibilities under the motto "The future of success is ecological." The awards ceremony for the Carton Austria Award 2025 and the PROPAK Austria Pro Carton Young Designers Award crowned the event.

Carton Austria Award 2025 ceremony: Record number of submissions!

The submissions for the 8th Carton Austria Award 2025 were diverse, and the winners were groundbreaking: both the enjoyment of life and practical environmental protection were recognized. The jury's Carton Austria Award for the best carton packaging from Austria went to the "Kotányi Advent Calendar." Other finalists were "Läderach Mini Mousse" and "Alfkens Hof Beerenschale." The Audience Award went to "DosenKARTON." The awards ceremony took place on October 7th as part of the Packaging Dialogue 2025.

This time, the winners and finalists of the PROPAK Austria Pro Carton Young Designers Award 2024 were guests at the “Smart Packaging” awards ceremony at the Austrian Packaging Day at FH Campus Vienna. The winners were Izabella Elek with “Choco Wave”, Timon Ibounigg with “Drill Packaging” and Inti-Filippa Crespín with “Dashamp – The dry Shampoo”.

Carton Austria Award 2024: Art on Cardboard

Elegance and joie de vivre with cardboard characterized the entries for the Carton Austria Award 2024, which entered its 7th year this year. This time everyone agreed, the CASH jury as well as the audience: "Art of Ice" won the Carton Austria Award for the best cardboard packaging from Austria. The award ceremony took place on October 8, 2024 as part of the Packaging Dialog 2024.
