Welcome to Pro Carton
Pro Carton is the European Association of Carton and Cartonboard manufacturers. Bringing together two elements of the supply chain, its main purpose is to promote the use of cartons and cartonboard as widely as possible. Operating across Europe with links in other parts of the world, Pro Carton seeks to inform the whole of the packaging chain of the most up to date developments in the industries as well as offering various other events, reports and activities to help brand owners, retailers and designers understand what is happening in the field of cartons and cartonboard.

Pro Carton/ECMA Award 20125th March 2012In 2012 the Pro Carton/ECMA Award has taken another major step forward. In its 16th year the Award is now open to all partners in the supply chain. As of now entries are no longer limited to the members of Pro Carton or ECMA, anyone involved in the development of a concept with cartonboard – be it the brand owners, retail trade or design – is welcome to enter directly if the they believe ”their“ idea is worthy of an award.

Young and vibrant: Pro Carton Design Awards 2012

The relaunch of the International Pro Carton Design Award after a break of four years proved highly successful. Nearly 70 entries from eight European countries showed significantly higher professionalism and fantastic, well-thought out concepts. The winners were two customer-oriented projects: "Pocket Aid", an innovative packaging for plasters, and "Cupholder" for use in cars.
