The packaging for Sonova’s Phonak hearing aid combines sustainability, smart functionality, and premium design in a solution that supports both brand values and user needs. Constructed entirely from recyclable virgin fibre cartonboard, the pack eliminates all plastic components and highlights the brand’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility.

The elegant and minimalist design features angled lid surfaces and a signature Phonak green interior, creating a striking look that reflects the product’s innovation. Designed with user-friendliness in mind, the pack features a technically advanced lid that is easy to open and reseal, offering security without the need for additional labels.

Internally, a modular insert system supports flexible inlay configurations, allowing the packaging to adapt to a variety of product formats. Despite its sophistication, the structure remains quick to assemble and flat-packed for transport, reducing storage demands and significantly lowering CO₂ emissions compared to previous rigid box formats.

Sustainable and user-friendly, the packaging also offers long-term value: after purchase, it can be repurposed as a storage box for accessories, which extends its usefulness far beyond its original role.
