For Läderach, a premium packaging system for chocolate tablets was developed, consisting of an individual tablet solution and a gift set for multiple tablets. It combines technical precision, sustainability and brand experience in one coherent concept. The tablet pack replaces a former three-part pack with label by a one-piece carton solution made from 260 g/m² Invercote G. It is pre-glued, delivered flat and designed for automated erecting and closing. While the previous solution required manual packing and handling steps, the new construction enables a fully automated packaging process with an integrated reclose function. Future production runs will be completely label-free in the closure area. The recessed lid creates a distinctive interplay of print and embossing while delivering a premium opening experience. The inner surfaces provide space for storytelling and brand communication. The folded and bonded side panels eliminate the need for double-sided printing, reducing production effort while simultaneously enhancing stability. The gift set made from 300 g/m² Invercote G features a one-piece construction, precisely fitted inner structure, double lid and rear closure, creating a premium unboxing experience with efficient erecting and filling. The packaging concept combines structural innovation, process efficiency and premium design to strengthen both brand value and sustainability.

Developed by Graphic Packaging for Tudor Drinks, the glue-free paperboard clip transforms a four-pack of PET bottles into a premium, retail-ready format that is both eye-catching and highly practical. The design gives the multipack strong billboard impact without hiding the primary bottle, allowing the product itself to remain the hero while creating a more consistent and scalable retail presentation. By replacing plastic rings or shrink film with a minimal-material fibre-based alternative, EnviroClip Beam supports a more circular packaging approach and offers a clear, consumer-friendly sustainability story. The structure is engineered to deliver dependable bottle retention, strength in chilled conditions and ease of handling across packing, distribution, shelf display and consumer carry. Because it ships flat and requires no adhesive, the format also simplifies logistics and reduces operational complexity for the co-packer. The result is a packaging solution that combines strong branding, practical performance, improved recyclability and commercial relevance in one elegant format designed for modern retail growth.

Alzamora Group developed a promotional cartonboard pack for Zamora Company designed to hold two bottles while breaking away from the conventional square box format. Made from 380 g/m² Metsä Board FBB Bright, the proposal transforms packaging into an experience: a structure with an outer sleeve that, once removed, unfolds the pack and turns a closed box into an open, organized, and visually striking display stand. The design responds to the challenge of presenting two tequilas of equal importance within a premium solution capable of conveying exclusivity while connecting with the rich visual heritage of Mexican culture. The central positioning of the bottles and the 360-degree printing reinforce their prominence and create a continuous narrative between the exterior, interior, and opening experience. The pack’s visual richness is enhanced through a combination of premium finishes, including CMYK printing plus two Pantone inks, silver polyester and white, together with gloss and matte UV varnishes, as well as embossing and debossing effects that add contrast, depth, and a sensory experience aligned with the product’s premium positioning.

This project represents a perfect balance between innovation, functionality, and sustainability, achieved through nearly a year of dedicated development. Designed to fully meet the client’s needs, the packaging has been completely reimagined—moving from a complex plastic solution made of three different materials to a refined mono-material structure in printed cartonboard. Every detail has been carefully engineered to enhance both performance and user experience. The pack is designed to be displayed either hanging or standing, thanks to integrated bottom feet that ensure excellent shelf stability, even with heavier contents. Its self-erecting structure eliminates the need for glue, simplifying the assembly process and reducing production time and environmental impact. Flexibility is at the core of the design: the interior features two adjustable height configurations, created through perforated cuts, allowing the same pack to accommodate different product variants while maintaining a consistent external look and strong brand identity. A distinctive top window, inspired by the logotype, adds a unique visual element that reinforces brand recognition. Lightweight yet durable, at just 12 grams, this packaging solution combines efficiency with ease of use, offering a smart, practical design that can be opened and closed effortlessly—delivering value across the entire supply chain.

The primary goal was clear: to eliminate conventional shrink wrap while maintaining strong shelf impact, secure handling and production efficiency. The result is a virgin fibre carton sleeve that firmly locks Elopak’s D-PAK™ cartons into a robust, easy-to-carry multipack, first launched for ALGA BIO SRL’s dishwasher liquid cleaners. With D-PAK™, Elopak provides a fibre-based alternative to conventional plastic bottles and pouches, limiting the use of plastic while enabling efficient logistics and enhanced brand visibility at the point-of-sale. Building on this fibre-based primary pack, MMP and Elopak developed a perfectly matched fibre-based multipack solution that replaces shrink wrap without compromising performance or efficiency. The solution reflects current trends by prioritizing renewable materials and compatibility with existing recycling systems. Key functional elements include engineered locking features to prevent pack separation, ergonomic finger-holes for convenient carrying, and full suitability for high-speed automated packing lines. The carton sleeve also offers extensive space for branding and mandatory product information. This solution demonstrates how sustainability considerations, functionality and premium shelf presence can be successfully combined in modern fibre-based multipack design.

The AKASHI Meïsei Gift Set transforms a whisky gift set into a refined ritual of discovery. Its compact format creates immediate appeal, inviting the consumer to unfold a refined, ritual-like tasting experience inspired by Japanese culture, purity and tradition. The curved opening silhouette reinforces the ceremonial character of the pack, turning the opening gesture into the first step of the tasting ritual the brand owner intended to create. The design challenge was to create a compact all-cardboard gift set that could present a bottle of Akashi Meïsei whisky and two Japanese cups in a secure, premium and culturally resonant way. Inside, the pack reveals the bottle and cups, held securely in a precisely designed cardboard inlay that creates a neat, balanced and premium presentation. The landscape illustration continues from the front into the interior, reflecting Japanese land, spirit and tradition as well as the natural ingredients at the heart of the whisky. This visual continuity strengthens the sense of authenticity and ceremony throughout the experience. What makes this entry especially distinctive is the power of simplicity. The Lindt & Sprüngli Süsse Adventszeit “Filzkalender” redefines the premium chocolate Advent Calendar by moving from a plastic inlay to a revolutionary folding carton inlay that unites festive luxury, structural ingenuity and a clear and intuitive end-of-life solution for the consumer. What makes this entry truly distinctive is the way it combines premium brand expression with a paper-based inner solution, showing how sustainability and luxury presentation can work powerfully together. The folding box delivers exceptional festive appeal through 5-colour printing and varnish, combined with relief hotfoil, structure hotfoil and a full front-side structural embossing. These sophisticated finishing effects create depth, brilliance and tactile richness, giving the calendar a luxurious presence worthy of the Lindt brand. Inside, the folding carton inlay securely holds the chocolates while supporting recycling of the calendar and insert in the normal paper stream. The Frey Easter Nest transforms seasonal confectionery packaging into an interactive and memorable consumer experience. Made entirely from fibre-based carton materials, the packaging combines playful design, sustainability and multifunctionality in a highly engaging Easter product concept. The carton nest contains two chocolate bunnies securely positioned by a specially developed insert, ensuring reliable protection and attractive presentation at the point of sale. The distinctive closure with integrated bunny ears creates strong shelf visibility and emotional appeal, making the packaging instantly recognisable during the Easter season. Beyond its primary function as confectionery packaging, the concept offers an additional surprise element: integrated inside the pack is a fully carton-based game board and dice set. The chocolate bunnies themselves can also be reused as playing figures, encouraging interaction, extended use and shared family moments beyond consumption. This playful second-life concept significantly enhances the overall value of the packaging while remaining completely fibre-based and recyclable, demonstrating how sustainable carton packaging can create emotional engagement and lasting consumer experiences.

By redesigning the packaging for its “La Baguette” cheese, the Laïta Cooperative, in partnership with MM Packaging France, demonstrates how eco-design can drive environmental, regulatory, and commercial performance. The project started with a clear goal in mind: to simplify the packaging to better control its impact. Replacing a wood/cardboard bi-material solution with a single compact cardboard pack marks a fundamental shift. This choice allows the product to be integrated into a truly circular approach, leveraging a cardboard supply chain that is already mature, efficient, and widely deployed across Europe. 100% recyclable and designed to meet current and future PPWR regulation requirements, the new packaging makes recycling easier while significantly reducing the product’s environmental footprint. The 50% reduction in the total weight of the packaging reflects an ambitious approach to reduction at the source, also generating efficiencies across the entire supply chain, from storage to transport. Without compromising on the protection of the cheese or its visibility on the shelf, this new packaging demonstrates that simplicity, efficiency, and appeal can go hand in hand. A simple, responsible solution fully aligned with Laïta’s CSR.

Bloomwood Beauty Packaging – Where Sustainability Meets Innovation A complete packaging system of four folding boxes- soap, serum, day cream and night cream, redefines what Beauty & Cosmetics packaging can be: a truly regional, on-demand solution with zero compromise on quality. Each carton's exterior showcases the uncoated natural surface of a premium 275 g/m² cartonboard, an honest, tactile material choice that signals sustainability before the folding box is even opened.Once the perforation is broken, the packaging opens like a book, revealing botanical illustrations and product information - turning each unboxing into a chapter of a larger brand story, conceived by Studio Nadir and illustrated by hand by Alix Bischoff. Production combines HP digital printing with rotary die-cutting. While a one-time tooling investment was required, there are no minimum order quantities and no recurring fixed costs. What makes this entry exceptional is its hyper-regional supply chain: the cartonboard manufacturer, the folding carton producer (Baiersbronn, Black Forest), and the brand owner (Pforzheim) are all located within a radius of under 80 km in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Our packaging design team successfully engineered a carton solution that delivers the same high-end perception as a rigid box without compromising recyclability. The result is an innovative carton box that combines functionality, shelf impact and environmental responsibility. The structure not only ensures product protection and display efficiency, but also elevates the unboxing and presentation experience. To reinforce the premium effect, we applied a range of advanced finishing techniques. High-quality printing, combined with precise and detailed debossing enhances the visual and tactile contrast between the 2 key colors of the brand: yellow and black. This creates a distinctive appearance that immediately captures attention on shelf.

Toty Ilumina CC Cream SPF 50 by Cantabria Labs celebrates skin tone diversity and naturalness — and its folding carton was engineered to make that promise instantly visible on shelf. Premium, clean and highly crafted, the pack delivers consistent impact across a wide number of shade variants while maintaining precise technical control. The key challenge was colour accuracy at scale. A dedicated colour reference system was developed to match the outer carton to the primary container and minimise colour deviation (Delta E) across tones. Digital printing enables tight control of the selected colour references for future batches, ensuring long term colour stability across the full range. Beyond colour, the carton adds a distinctive sensorial signature. The surface finish was developed to evoke a “skin under the microscope” effect — a tactile cue that reinforces the product’s skin focused positioning. This was achieved through customised die cutting and converting on MetsäBoard PrimeFBB Bright 290 g/m2 FSC, avoiding the need for a costly specialty substrate. A gold stamping highlight on the TOTY logo adds a refined premium accent, enhancing shelf standout and brand recognition.

KidGuard is Alzamora Group’s patented cartonboard packaging solution for chemical products, here adapted for PROQUIMIA detergents. It is designed to reduce the risk of accidental or improper opening by children in domestic settings. Made from a single piece of 460 g/m² Kraft Crownboard cartonboard supplied by Billerud, the pack features a sliding-door opening system with an integrated side-locking mechanism formed directly through the cartonboard folds, with no extra components. Unlike many market alternatives that require multiple parts or mixed materials, KidGuard uses one single piece, reducing material consumption, simplifying production, and improving recyclability. Its structure is also fully automatable, allowing quick assembly and efficient industrial processing. Opening and closing the pack requires a specific sequence of movements, explained through instructions printed on the packaging. This enables controlled adult access while making handling more difficult for children. KidGuard has successfully passed AIJU child-resistant packaging tests, which consider key risks for children aged 12 to 35 months. Tests were carried out with 30 children for each size and model. The solution is available in three models and three sizes, with CMYK + 2 Pantone printing and gloss acrylic varnish finishes.

The triangle, star and hexagonal shaped holiday box set designed for Godiva transforms chocolate from a simple treat into a special holiday experience. Each box hanging on Christmas tree creates a sense of surprise and discovery for childs while bringing family members together around moments of sharing, excitement and sweetness. The triangle form symbolizes the Christmas tree and new beginnings, the star form represents the magic of the holiday season and children’s wishes while the hexagon form reflects togetherness and family bonds. Even after the chocolates are consumed, the story of the packaging still continues: the boxes hang on the Christmas tree, becoming part of a cherished family tradition remembered and repeated year after year. In this way, the Godiva experience becomes lasting not only through its taste, but also through the warm memories, childhood nostalgia and meaningful moments shared together.

Seven days in a week, but only six beers in a pack. Most people never questioned it - but the Corona Cero team did. They believed every day deserves a relaxing moment, so they set out to create a 7-pack that finally makes sense. Working hand in hand with AB InBev and JKR, we explored how to bring this playful idea to life while keeping the unmistakable Corona feeling. The challenge was simple to say but hard to solve: add a seventh bottle without losing the balance, ease and iconic silhouette people know so well. Alongside the secondary pack, we also supported AB InBev with the tertiary packaging, ensuring the full solution - from bottle to basket to outer case - worked seamlessly across supply chain, fulfilment and retail. The result is a paper-based basket that looks effortless, feels natural in the hand, and quietly hides a clever extra pocket on the side. It’s intuitive to close, comfortable to carry and instantly recognisable on shelf. Cero people thought it was a problem. Cero people complained. We fixed it anyway. Because every day deserves a relaxing break.

LumiBarrier reduces material use, logistics impact, and complexity while setting a new benchmark for intelligent, sustainable pharmaceutical packaging.

Developed with innovation and safety at its core, the packaging securely holds each knife in place, reducing the risk of accidental injuries during handling and unboxing. This creates a safe, functional, and refined customer experience without compromising elegance. The packaging is produced using the Swedish material CrownBoard Craft, chosen for its exceptional strength and durability. Its robust quality makes it especially suitable for safely packaging sharp knives while maintaining a premium and sustainable appearance. Environmental responsibility has also been central throughout the design process. By combining strong, environmentally conscious materials with efficient construction, the packaging minimizes unnecessary waste while delivering high protection, quality, and timeless Nordic design.

Tropic’s challenge was to create a cost-effective, premium boxset range for their Christmas 2025 launch. They wanted to add a bit of sparkle this year, so during print trials we speculatively added different pearlescent varnishes to further lift the metallic colours they chose, which worked extremely well. Traditionally, rigid boxes are used for such sets, but we created cartonboard alternatives that were both more cost-effective and also more sustainable. By using cartonboard, we were also able to add embossed detail that couldn’t be achieved on a rigid alternative. The foiling was a particular challenge as we needed to cover both a wide span of detailed foil and larger block areas that were also embossed. Structurally we created the boxes with firstly integral lids to make these more aesthetically pleasing and to negate reverse printing; secondly, we also glued key areas to help support quicker fulfilment in packing. We also created as part of the range, four different A-frame cartons for smaller product configurations; where required, we built integral platforms that securely held the primary components, rather than adding other packing materials. Overall, the range exceeded both brand + sales expectations, with several sets ‘sold out’ in the first two weeks!

The Anthon Berg Advent Calendar 2025 turns 24 days of Advent into a celebration of craftsmanship, visual richness and premium refinement. More than a festive box, it is a carefully composed gift experience in which liquor-filled dark chocolates, decorative refinement and daily discovery come together in one elegant format. The structural challenge was to combine secure presentation for 24 miniature liquor-filled dark chocolates with a gift-ready format that preserves elegance, order and festive anticipation throughout the full Advent experience. The design meets this through two structural parts that create both stability and premium presentation, while the 24 carefully arranged perforated windows turn opening into a daily ritual. The visual identity immediately captures attention through its deep dark background and wreath of golden leaves shaped like a luxurious ornament. Within this composition, the miniature chocolates appear like precious jewels, brought to life through a rich palette of amber, ruby, silver and copper. Embossing, UV varnish, gold foil and spot UV details create brilliance, texture and a vivid three-dimensional presence, while the Anthon Berg logo at the centre expresses the brand’s heritage and quality since 1884.

What begins as a compact, elegant box unfolds day by day into a spectacular three-dimensional diorama, surprising the consumer with something entirely new: packaging that grows in scale, reveals new visual layers and becomes part of the festive celebration itself. This is far more than a pack containing 24 gifts. It is a carefully engineered journey that builds excitement with every opening, creating wonder, discovery and emotional engagement throughout the countdown. The evolving construction works hand in hand with the artwork and illumination, creating a striking day-to-night effect that brings the scene to life as a captivating 360-degree festive centrepiece. This remarkable transformation is fully matched by excellent functionality. Each compartment securely holds, protects and presents its contents, while the overall pack moves from compact e-commerce format to a decorative seasonal display. Developed for Phonak, this compact carton packaging proves that even the smallest formats can deliver premium impact, full functionality, and a complete transition from plastic to fibre-based materials. Designed for hearing aid accessories, it replaces a former plastic box with a fibre-based solution made from 240 g/m² GZ Invercote G. The challenge was exceptional: the packaging size is at the technical minimum limit for processing on a gluing machine. Despite this, the design integrates a Euro hole hanger, a front opening with a tamper-evident feature, and a secure reclosure with a snap-lock mechanism. Precise holding points, glue lines, and pre-broken creases ensure reliable machine erection and efficient industrial filling. The result is a highly efficient, retail-ready packaging solution with a clean design and strong shelf presence—despite its minimal size. In addition, a secondary carton packaging made from 280 g/m² GZ Invercote G was developed for retail, also replacing a previous plastic solution. A base with an integrated insert groups multiple packs, while the sleeve enables easy loading, handling, and premium presentation. This entry combines advanced packaging engineering, industrial efficiency, and a consistent material transition in one elegant solution—proving that small packaging can achieve a big impact.

The Skin + Me pack is an intelligent cartonboard packaging solution developed by Offset Print & Packaging, part of the Alzamora Group, for Skin + Me’s Daily Doser product. It combines protection, brand experience, postal efficiency and retail impact in one compact format. Its distinctive pillow-inspired shape creates a premium and memorable unboxing experience, while the optimised structure securely holds the product in place during transit. The pack’s main strength is its smart 2-in-1 functionality: the carton itself protects, presents, communicates and enhances the brand, removing the need for a separate insert, protective pack, presentation box or additional printed labels. The product-holding system is integrated directly into the cartonboard design, reducing complexity, material use and extra components. Engineered for postal efficiency, the pack fits within the 25 mm large letter format despite containing a product with a 23 mm diameter. The material specification supports the pack’s premium finish and structural performance: Stora Enso Ensocoat 2S cartonboard, 400 g/m², 450 microns.

The retail packaging for X BIONIC® sets new standards on the shelf by combining high quality materials, intelligent design and strong brand aesthetics into a coherent and highly functional overall experience. The two part solution consists of a slipcase made from 380 g/m² GZ card-board and a sturdy tray made from laminated F flute, ensuring excellent dimensional stability, product protection and a premium look and feel. Soft touch coating and precise embossing en-hance the tactile quality and reflect the brand’s technological strength. The striking visual design, featuring brilliant white and an intense orange achieved through a double application of spot colours, ensures strong shelf impact and supports intuitive product navigation. The packaging range is available in three standard sizes (S, M and L). A total of 57 different print motifs guide consumers through the assortment and simplify the selection of func-tional clothing. A key functional highlight is the integrated fabric strap, which enables easy opening and space saving hanging for flexible in store presentation. The system is complemented by a robust e commerce version made from 500 g/m² GZ cardboard, ensuring consistent brand quality during shipping. The concept seamlessly combines innovation, functionality and premium design into a holistic solution.

The Anthon Berg Single Malt Scotch Collection reimagines festive gifting as an exceptional gift presentation. Moving beyond the traditional gift set, it presents its contents through five individually designed inner compartments, each revealing eight miniature chocolate bottles in a carefully staged and elegant composition. The design challenge was to create a format that feels both premium and distinctive, while presenting chocolate bottles with premium spirit fillings in a more savoury, thoughtful and elevated way. The discovery begins with the outer sleeve, which must first be pulled away to reveal the structured interior. This opening gesture adds anticipation and gives the gift pack a more theatrical and layered unboxing journey. Its visual identity is built on a rich dark brown palette with refined foil accents, expressing warmth, depth and sophistication. The deliberate interplay of water-based matte varnish, UV gloss varnish and hot foil creates a tactile contrast that brings the design to life: matte surfaces absorb the light, while gloss and foil catch it with controlled brilliance. This premium expression encourages the consumer not simply to indulge, but to enjoy with care. Construction on the PIAFF carton was created with super premium in mind, proving less can sometimes be more. The choice of board was Invercote duo which we know converts well and gives clean embossing and foiling. The structural design had to have no raw edges and hold the bottle in place. By doing this it created a very solid finished carton that doesn't flex when in the hand. The carton is printed in 3 spot colours, then hot foiled foiled and then back through the press for matt and gloss varnish, Carton was then embossed and debossed and cut and glued. The carton stands out on shelf with the beautiful Teale blue colour on the front and back panel, cream panels down the side with the PIAFF brand bold in a dark blue. This draws you into the carton rather than adding complexity on the eye. Every detail is well thought out and planned to really add value to what is a stunning Champagne.

A key feature is the generously sized viewing window, which is entirely free of plastic film and allows direct product visibility. This not only enhances product appeal but also makes a significant contribution to reducing plastic usage. Manufactured from 450 g/m² GT2 Ibis, the packaging offers high structural strength, excellent printability, and efficient material utilisation. Clean lines and precise detailing underline its premium character and ensure strong visual differentiation at the point of sale. By combining functionality, sustainability, and brand impact, this packaging represents a forward-looking solution for cosmetic and gift packaging.

Created for Avon, this gift set packaging proves that premium presentation can also be practical, efficient and more sustainable. We engineered a single top-and-base size that works across multiple product combinations, supported by a family of interchangeable carton inserts. By reusing the same cutting tools and varying only the insert design, the range is faster to scale, simpler to source and more cost-effective to produce. Every insert is designed to fit perfectly, eliminating unnecessary void space and reducing material use without compromising the unboxing experience. Production and packing were central to the concept: the insert requires just one glue line, making it easy to erect and quick for co-packers to load. For protection in transit, the top and bottom feature a robust double-wall construction, and the pack height closely matches the product height to prevent movement. Importantly, this was a new solution for Avon—moving away from mixed materials to an all-carton construction with no plastic components. The result is a streamlined, shelf-ready gift box that performs, travels and looks great, and it has already inspired plans for further seasonal editions including Christmas and Mother’s Day. It’s a smart, scalable packaging system built for modern retail and responsible design.
