The AKASHI Meïsei Gift Set transforms a whisky gift set into a refined ritual of discovery. Its compact format creates immediate appeal, inviting the consumer to unfold a refined, ritual-like tasting experience inspired by Japanese culture, purity and tradition. The curved opening silhouette reinforces the ceremonial character of the pack, turning the opening gesture into the first step of the tasting ritual the brand owner intended to create. The design challenge was to create a compact all-cardboard gift set that could present a bottle of Akashi Meïsei whisky and two Japanese cups in a secure, premium and culturally resonant way. Inside, the pack reveals the bottle and cups, held securely in a precisely designed cardboard inlay that creates a neat, balanced and premium presentation. The landscape illustration continues from the front into the interior, reflecting Japanese land, spirit and tradition as well as the natural ingredients at the heart of the whisky. This visual continuity strengthens the sense of authenticity and ceremony throughout the experience. What makes this entry especially distinctive is the power of simplicity.
