Entry name: CLICKFLIP
by Simon Dauskardt

Team members:
Entry date: 28 May 2025
Promo: ClickFlip is an innovative chewing gum packaging concept designed to tackle glitter. Recognising the need for a more responsible solution, this design rethinks traditional gum packaging by integrating a built-in disposal system. Once the gum loses its flavour, users simply flip the pack and place the used piece inside the designated compartment. When the pack is finished, the top portion can be recycled with paper, while the bottom, used for gum disposal, is discarded. This not only helps to effectively separate waste streams but also provides a realistic solution for a widespread problem.

Entry name: Just Cut It
by Lisa Kloiber

Team members:
Entry date: 20 May 2025
Promo: Most scissor packages are made of hard plastic – and ironically, you need scissors to open the one you just bought. This packaging changes that: simply tear the flap, grab the scissors, and cut it open. The packaging keeps the scissors secure in the store, as the flap on the bottom prevents the packaging from being opened unnoticed. At the same time, it allows customers to handle the scissors before purchasing, since they are not shrink-wrapped in plastic. A simple, intuitive design that turns the unboxing into part of the product experience.

Entry name: Welcome Home
by Quenderff Alexane

Team members:
Entry date: 09 May 2025
Promo: You arrive late at an Airbnb or aparthotel, exhausted from the journey. You drop your suitcase, collapse into bed… The next morning, you wake up to a surprise: Welcome Home. A warm, terracotta-colored cartonboard cabinet awaits. You open it — inside, drawers filled with a complete breakfast: bread, butter, jam, eggs, drinks, snacks. Everything is there. This project was born from that exact moment — the morning after a trip, when you don’t know the neighborhood, or nothing nearby is open, and all you crave is comfort. I wanted to recreate that feeling of opening a cupboard… and finding it full. This kit fills a real gap: starting your stay right, feeling at home, even when everything is unfamiliar. The challenge was combining practicality, strength, and emotion. It’s refillable and reusable. Welcome Home can grow into seasonal or themed kits — always with the same goal: make you feel welcome.

Entry name: “Light, Camera, Popcorn!”
by Marta Chubata

Team members:
Entry date: 09 May 2025
Promo: My popcorn packaging was inspired by a clapboard. I used the same layout, phrases, and the iconic black-and-white line on top that are commonly used on a clapperboard to reflect the vibe. The packaging features an easy pull tab that opens the box in the same way a clapboard claps. There are three different popcorn flavours inside the packaging that represent three different movie genres: romance, horror, and action. Each popcorn package has a different playful illustration that conveys the vibe of its movie genre.

Entry name: take, go, carry and expose
by Stiufliuc Florentina

Team members:
Entry date: 09 May 2025
Promo: "take, go, carry, and expose" is a box made out of two pieces. Very simple looking but also complicated, It has 9 compartments, a handle for carrying, and also includes two pieces that when combined form a stable base for being displayed on a table, for example: if you go to a party you need a pretty plate, but if you use this box it combines all you need- a nice design (we don't like a basic plate on the table at a party), a handle (when you buy it, it can be easy to carry) and a food platter (can be placed on the table in a beautiful way). "take, go, carry, and expose"- it can be used with all types of food- muesli bars, mini cakes, cupcakes, biscuits, pretzels, nuts etc.

Entry name: The Saucy corner
by Gerda Keblaitė

Team members:
Entry date: 09 May 2025
Promo: This is an improvement of the standard (28cm diameter) pizza box, solving the problem of lack of space for pizza sauce. A non-functional corner of the package is used. A cavity is created to hold the sauce container. The modification can be applied to all sizes of pizza packaging. The modification holds the sauce stably, prevents it from sliding and spilling during movement, without changing the essential construction of the pizza box. Such boxes can still be stacked for transportation, folding is not complicated, the packaging is functional even without using a modified corner, due to the perforation elements.
