FUNCTION SUMMARY :
Under the supervision of the Director of Technical Services, the incumbent is responsible for providing technical monitoring (process and/or environmental aspects) of the plant's projects to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the company's environmental regulations and policy. The person in the position must plan the various environmental characterizations required by federal and provincial regulations for the plant. He or she prepares the files necessary to obtain CAs, and collaborates in the development and monitoring of environmental programs. He or she ensures the application of environmental regulations relating to the plant. REQUIREMENTS :- University degree (bachelor's degree) in science or any other related discipline. A university certificate in environmental sciences would be an asset*
- Have accumulated some experience in environmental management
- Have a good knowledge of federal, provincial and municipal laws, regulations and standards relating to the environment
- Essential bilingualism (French, English)**
- Have good communication skills with various internal/external stakeholders and collaborators
- Demonstrate rigor in the management of your files.
