This milestone confirms that paper\u2011based packaging can remain fully recyclable while still allowing room for innovation, investment and climate\u2011friendly alternatives to fossil materials. Michele Bianchi, President of Fibre Packaging Europe and CEO of RDM Group, notes that \u201ccompetitiveness and circularity can go hand in hand,\u201d highlighting the practical, workable criteria that will help keep our packaging recyclable at scale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"whitespace-pre-wrap\">Fibre Packaging Europe now urges the European Commission to adopt these criteria in its upcoming Delegated Act on Design for Recycling. As members, we must support this position, review our own designs against the new thresholds, and share best practices to ensure a smooth transition.
