Per questo motivo, i produttori tedeschi di carta, cartone e imballaggi in carta chiedono una normativa europea vincolante contro i residui indesiderati di oli minerali negli alimenti, considerando tutte le fonti conosciute.<\/p>\n<p>Il Ministero federale tedesco per l'alimentazione e l'agricoltura (BMEL) sembra intenzionato a portare avanti il suo piano di undici anni fa per una nuova ordinanza tedesca sugli oli minerali. I produttori di imballaggi hanno criticato il BMEL per essersi concentrato esclusivamente sugli imballaggi alimentari con contenuto di carta riciclata come possibile fonte di oli minerali. Poich\u00e9 non sono state prese in considerazione altre fonti di input, le dichiarazioni politiche di voler difendere la sicurezza preventiva dei consumatori hanno mancato il bersaglio.
