L'industrie de la p\u00e2te et du papier pourrait augmenter sa production d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de chaleur renouvelables sur site et, par le biais d'un \"effet de capacit\u00e9 d'\u00e9change\", vendre toute production d'\u00e9nergie exc\u00e9dentaire au r\u00e9seau, aux quartiers avoisinants et \u00e0 d'autres industries.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">L'industrie europ\u00e9enne de la p\u00e2te et du papier est d\u00e9j\u00e0 le plus grand consommateur industriel d'\u00e9nergies propres, avec plus de 60% d'\u00e9nergies renouvelables dans sa consommation d'\u00e9nergie primaire. Proportionnellement \u00e0 sa taille, elle est <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">un investisseur industriel majeur dans la d\u00e9carbonisation<\/span><\/strong> de ses processus, notamment par la production d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable sur place. C'est l'une des r\u00e9ussites du syst\u00e8me europ\u00e9en d'\u00e9change de quotas d'\u00e9mission (SCEQE), qui incite \u00e0 ce type d'investissement. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Les auteurs de l'\u00e9tude concluent que d'ici 2030, l'industrie de la p\u00e2te et du papier a le potentiel d'augmenter sa production d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et de chaleur renouvelables sur site pour g\u00e9n\u00e9rer pr\u00e8s de 31 TWh. Cela correspond \u00e0 30% d'\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et pr\u00e8s de 6% de chaleur produites sur site en 2020. Mais pour mobiliser les investissements n\u00e9cessaires, il faudrait mettre en place une r\u00e9glementation europ\u00e9enne pr\u00e9visible et des proc\u00e9dures d'autorisation rapides. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">L'\u00e9tude propose \u00e9galement une estimation de l'espace disponible dans les diff\u00e9rents types de papeteries pour installer des panneaux solaires ou des \u00e9oliennes, en plus d'autres solutions identifi\u00e9es par les auteurs. Les capacit\u00e9s de production d'\u00e9nergie d\u00e9crites dans le nouveau rapport ne peuvent toutefois pas \u00eatre mises en \u0153uvre assez rapidement pour constituer une solution \u00e0 la crise \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique actuelle. Mais une analyse largement partag\u00e9e montre que les co\u00fbts de l'\u00e9nergie en Europe resteront probablement \u00e9lev\u00e9s, au moins dans un avenir pr\u00e9visible, et qu'il est n\u00e9cessaire de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions de gaz \u00e0 effet de serre. <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">les investissements dans les \u00e9nergies non fossiles offriront \u00e0 terme \u00e0 l'industrie une chance de s'adapter<\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">\u00e0 un paysage \u00e9nerg\u00e9tique radicalement diff\u00e9rent<\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">L'\u00e9tude a \u00e9galement explor\u00e9 la possibilit\u00e9 pour l'industrie papeti\u00e8re de r\u00e9duire sa propre consommation et d'augmenter la part d'\u00e9nergie renouvelable qu'elle fournit au r\u00e9seau, aux quartiers voisins et \u00e9ventuellement \u00e0 d'autres industries. Les auteurs estiment que cette \"capacit\u00e9 d'adaptation\" pourrait r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement atteindre 10% \u00e0 20% pour une usine de papier moyenne. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Dans une perspective plus large, le m\u00eame effet d'optimisation entre la production de mat\u00e9riaux et la production d'\u00e9nergie pourrait \u00e9galement s'appliquer aux r\u00e9sidus de biomasse r\u00e9sultant de la production. Le d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles applications de produits est d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien avanc\u00e9. L'\u00e9nergie renouvelable devient de plus en plus disponible et son co\u00fbt diminue \u00e0 l'avenir, <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">la production<\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">des produits et mat\u00e9riaux secondaires d'origine biologique devrait continuer \u00e0 stimuler la transformation du secteur.<\/span><\/strong>.
