Fairtrade a vendu pour $8,49 milliards de marchandises dans le monde en 2017.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Rien qu'en 2017, les ventes ont augment\u00e9 de 8 %. Le mouvement a vu le jour en 1988 aux Pays-Bas. Aujourd'hui, Fairtrade International coop\u00e8re avec 1,6 million d'agriculteurs dans 75 pays. Hartwig Kirner est issu de l'industrie des produits de marque et, au cours des 11 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, il a fait de Fairtrade l'une des marques les plus importantes en Autriche.<\/p>\n<h3>D\u00e9veloppement positif<\/h3>\n<p>\"Contrairement \u00e0 l'opinion publique, le monde a connu une \u00e9volution tr\u00e8s positive ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es : Il y a moins de pauvret\u00e9, 80 % des gens savent d\u00e9sormais lire et \u00e9crire, et au Bangladesh, le taux de natalit\u00e9 par femme est tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 2,3 enfants. N\u00e9anmoins, la plupart des gens dans le monde pensent que le monde a empir\u00e9 ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, surtout en Europe.\"<\/p>\n<p>\"Beaucoup de gens pensent que les choses \u00e9taient mieux avant, mais ce n'est pas vrai. Ici aussi, la pauvret\u00e9 \u00e9tait beaucoup plus r\u00e9pandue qu'aujourd'hui, un appartement de deux pi\u00e8ces pour sept ou huit personnes n'\u00e9tait pas rare, et la plupart des gens devaient travailler tr\u00e8s dur physiquement dans l'agriculture. On entend souvent dire : rien ne semble fonctionner, le monde va de plus en plus mal. Mais la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est tout autre. Si vous travaillez pour rendre le monde meilleur, il devient meilleur. Cela signifie que les bienfaiteurs sont des r\u00e9alistes !\"<\/p>\n<p>Fairtrade s'est fix\u00e9 pour objectif d'am\u00e9liorer la situation des petites familles d'agriculteurs en Am\u00e9rique latine, en Afrique et en Asie. \"Il ne s'agit pas de faire la charit\u00e9, mais de r\u00e9mun\u00e9rer \u00e9quitablement les personnes qui fabriquent des produits pour nous. Nous avons trois piliers de durabilit\u00e9 dans nos portefeuilles de d\u00e9tail : la r\u00e9gionalit\u00e9, l'agriculture biologique et le commerce \u00e9quitable\".<\/p>\n<h3>La confiance des consommateurs<\/h3>\n<p>\"Aujourd'hui, 62 % des gens disent chercher un soutien dans la vie. La confiance dans les institutions \u00e9tablies a diminu\u00e9. C'est pourquoi la durabilit\u00e9 devient de plus en plus importante. Il y a une grande envie de produits honn\u00eates et purs. L'\u00e9volution des ventes des produits du commerce \u00e9quitable \u00e9tait d\u00e9j\u00e0 tr\u00e8s positive au d\u00e9but de notre mill\u00e9naire, mais la croissance a pratiquement explos\u00e9 depuis la crise \u00e9conomique. Au cours des cinq \u00e0 sept derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le th\u00e8me de la durabilit\u00e9 a pris un essor consid\u00e9rable.\"<\/p>\n<p>79 % des consommateurs font confiance \u00e0 la marque Fairtrade. \"Il est important que nous ne restions pas immobiles, mais que nous continuions \u00e0 nous d\u00e9velopper en avant. Il ne doit jamais y avoir le moindre soup\u00e7on que quelque chose ne va pas. En particulier si vous \u00eates bien positionn\u00e9 en tant qu'industrie en mati\u00e8re de durabilit\u00e9, vous devez travailler dur sur le sujet.\"<\/p>\n<p>Les enqu\u00eates montrent que les gens veulent de plus en plus acheter des produits du commerce \u00e9quitable. \"Pr\u00e8s de trois quarts des gens disent vouloir acheter des produits Fairtrade. Je sais que c'est un v\u0153u pieux, mais cela montre que cette tendance gagne en importance dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. En Autriche, la marque Fairtrade fait d\u00e9sormais partie du top 25.\"<\/p>\n<h3>Tirer le meilleur parti des opportunit\u00e9s<\/h3>\n<p>\"On ne le r\u00e9p\u00e9tera jamais assez, la durabilit\u00e9 est un sujet extr\u00eamement br\u00fblant. Le secteur alimentaire est actuellement un v\u00e9ritable moteur dans ce domaine et prend de nombreuses initiatives. Il ne s'agit plus d'\u00e9coblanchiment, mais d'efforts r\u00e9els, car le commerce comprend mieux ses consommateurs et sait ce qu'ils veulent. La question de la durabilit\u00e9 a atteint le c\u0153ur de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. Le sujet du plastique est devenu l'une des plus grandes m\u00e9gatendances de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 : l'opportunit\u00e9 de positionner le carton contre le plastique est plus grande que jamais.\"<\/p>\n<p>\"Mais je vous d\u00e9conseille de pr\u00eacher avec un index d'avertissement. Les consommateurs n'appr\u00e9cient pas cela. Chez Fairtrade, nous avons cess\u00e9 de le faire il y a de nombreuses ann\u00e9es. Le fait de toujours pointer du doigt les probl\u00e8mes frustre les gens. Ils veulent avoir une image positive, et chez Fairtrade, nous constatons \u00e9galement que nous sommes beaucoup plus \u00e9cout\u00e9s lorsque nous nous concentrons sur les aspects positifs d'une strat\u00e9gie de durabilit\u00e9. L'industrie du carton et du carton plat doit montrer ce que ses produits peuvent faire. L'heure est venue pour le carton, mais il faut aussi profiter de cette opportunit\u00e9 pour renforcer l'\u00e9cologie.\"<\/p>\n<p>\"Quand je regarde comment le monde a \u00e9volu\u00e9 pour le mieux ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, je suis fier de voir \u00e0 cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement comment le sujet de l'emballage est discut\u00e9 sur une excellente plateforme et comment des solutions positives sont travaill\u00e9es.
