Pro Carton’s 2009 visibility on the Belgian market is very effectively focussed in 2009 on the participation in two events: the Annual Forum GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg in March and the International Marketing Congress of the Marketing Foundation on 4th and 5th December.

 

The 17 March, the annual forum of GS1 Belgium & Luxembourg, a merger between the former national EAN and ECR structures, was very well attended by 300 leading delegates from retail and manufacturing. CEO’s from Delhaize, Henkel, Colruyt, Alpro and Unilever gave their vision on sustainable branding and retailing, and how green company policies can match with cost efficiency and enhancing the company profile.

With transport as an evident example, achieving this triple goal is however often dependent on the close collaboration between partners in the supply chain. A further perfect tuning of electronic messages is the key GS1 objective for the coming year.

As last year Pro Carton reached a high visibility at this event with the sponsoring of the congress box, the “cartons - naturally creative” messages on the full backside, and the Carton Awards jury report added to the event documentation.

Marketing Congress
Later this year Pro Carton will also sponsor the 28 edition of the Marketing Foundation congress, traditionally attended by around 1000 marketing delegates. This congress is scheduled on the 4 and 5 December and titled “Marketing Renaissance”. Referring to his period, a time of inspiration, reflection and hope, current times invite to question, discover, generate new ideas, ... a time to reinvent marketing.

As always world class key note speakers are presenting at this unique annual marketing event. This time Prof. Donald Sull, Professor of Management Practice and International Management at the London Business School, and Charlene Li, known as one of the most creative minds in the field of new technologies with a focus on, social and interactive media and on marketing, are included in the program.

Their respective soon published or recent book titles “The upside of turbulence” and “Groundswell : Winning in a world transformed by social technologies “ are most promising.
