Las dos f\u00e1bricas de Iggesund Paperboard -en Iggesund (Suecia) y Workington (Inglaterra)- han obtenido la m\u00e1xima calificaci\u00f3n en materia de sostenibilidad en una evaluaci\u00f3n realizada por la firma de analistas EcoVadis. EcoVadis es el principal sistema de evaluaci\u00f3n y calificaci\u00f3n de los proveedores de las empresas mundiales y ha evaluado a m\u00e1s de 25.000 proveedores. Entre las empresas que utilizan EcoVadis figuran Coca Cola, Johnson & Johnson, Nestl\u00e9, L'Or\u00e9al y Heineken.<\/p>\n

\"No es la primera vez que se confirma que Iggesund Paperboard y su empresa matriz, el Grupo Holmen, tienen un programa de sostenibilidad muy s\u00f3lido\", comenta Johan Gran\u00e5s, responsable de comunicaci\u00f3n sobre sostenibilidad de Iggesund. \"Con el tiempo, las cuestiones planteadas han pasado de ser puramente medioambientales a abarcar ahora todo el \u00e1mbito de la sostenibilidad, incluidas sus dimensiones financieras y sociales\".<\/p>\n

En los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os, el Grupo Holmen ha aparecido en los \u00edndices de las 100 empresas m\u00e1s sostenibles del mundo, elaborados tanto por el Pacto Mundial de la ONU como por Corporate Knights.
