This is not an exhaustive list, but it summarizes those relevant to our industry.<br \/>\nThe information is especially relevant to our smaller members, who do not have specialist policy compliance teams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Whilst the major changes associated with the PPWR do not happen until 1 January 2030,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-GB\">companies do need to comply with the following:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\" type=\"1\">\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Ensure that any environmental claims made on packaging should exceed the minimum requirements in the PPWR (Article 14)<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Manufacturers shall ensure that packaging bears a type, batch or serial number allowing its identification or provide the required information in an accompanying document (Article 15 (5))<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"x_MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-GB\">Manufacturers must provide their name, brand, and contact address on the packaging or via a QR code or similar.
