April 2024<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Pro Carton begr\u00fc\u00dft die zwischen dem Rat der EU und dem Europ\u00e4ische Parlament erzielte politische Einigung \u00fcber die Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) sowie deren Annahme durch den AStV I, den Umweltausschuss des Parlaments, und das Europ\u00e4ische Parlament am 24. April 2024.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Wir begr\u00fc\u00dfen das Engagement sowohl des Rates als auch des Parlaments, diesen Meilenstein zu erreichen, um sich auf eine st\u00e4rkere Harmonisierung der Verpackungsvorschriften zu konzentrieren, die der Industrie die n\u00f6tige Vorhersehbarkeit f\u00fcr Innovationen und Investitionen bieten wird. Wir halten diese Einigung f\u00fcr einen ausgewogenen Kompromiss und eine Ermutigung f\u00fcr die EU-Minister, den Text zu unterst\u00fctzen und ihn im Laufe dieses Jahres, wahrscheinlich nach den EU-Wahlen, formell zu verabschieden. In der Tat braucht die gesamte Branche rechtliche Klarheit und Vorhersehbarkeit im Rechtsrahmen, um fundierte Entscheidungen zu erleichtern und den \u00dcbergang unseres Kontinents zu einer Kreislaufwirtschaft voranzutreiben. Dazu geh\u00f6ren wichtige Investitionen sowie die F\u00f6rderung gezielter und sinnvoller Innovationen.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Die gesamte Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette f\u00fcr faserhaltige Verpackungen freut sich darauf, einen aktiven Beitrag zur Phase der sekund\u00e4ren Gesetzgebung zu leisten. Sie vertritt Interessengruppen, die sich f\u00fcr verantwortungsvolle Praktiken einsetzen und bereit sind, die Umsetzung dieser wichtigen Verordnung zu unterst\u00fctzen, indem sie Beitr\u00e4ge aus der gesamten Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette f\u00fcr faserhaltige Verpackungen b\u00fcndeln, ihre Expertise anbieten und die Zusammenarbeit f\u00f6rdern.
