Konf\u00f6deration der Papierindustrie (Cepi):<\/em><\/p>\n

Aufgrund der ung\u00fcnstigen makro\u00f6konomischen Rahmenbedingungen ist die Zellstoff- und Papierproduktion in Europa im Jahr 2023 zur\u00fcckgegangen. Dies war auf mehrere sich gegenseitig verst\u00e4rkende externe Faktoren zur\u00fcckzuf\u00fchren: ein schlechtes wirtschaftliches Umfeld, Lagerabbau und immer noch hohe Energiekosten, wie die <\/span>Vorl\u00e4ufiger statistischer Bericht des Cepi<\/span><\/a><\/span> heute ver\u00f6ffentlicht.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Da sich die mittelfristige globale Wirtschaftsentwicklung auf die Nachfrage nach Papier und Karton auswirkt und den Abbau von Lagerbest\u00e4nden versch\u00e4rft, sank der Verbrauch im Jahr 2023 um 15,31 Terabyte (Tt), und die Produktion in der Papier- und Kartonindustrie musste mit einem R\u00fcckgang um 12,81 Tt das zweite Jahr in Folge einen R\u00fcckgang hinnehmen. Angesichts der weltweit geringen Nachfrage gingen jedoch sowohl die Einfuhren als auch die Ausfuhren zur\u00fcck, und die europ\u00e4ische Handelsbilanz f\u00fcr Zellstoff und Papier ist nach wie vor bei weitem positiv, da der Sektor in dieser Hinsicht zu den wichtigsten Sektoren des verarbeitenden Gewerbes in der EU geh\u00f6rt.<\/span><\/p>\n

Auch Sanit\u00e4r- und Haushaltspapier zeigte sich mit einem begrenzten R\u00fcckgang von -3,7% wesentlich stabiler als andere Segmente.
