November 2023:<\/strong><\/em> Mehr als 150 Personen kamen in Br\u00fcssel und online zusammen, um das dreij\u00e4hrige Bestehen von 4evergreen auf einer Konferenz zu feiern, auf der die bisherigen Errungenschaften der Allianz gew\u00fcrdigt wurden und untersucht wurde, wie die Industrie die 4evergreen-Toolbox f\u00fcr Kreislaufwirtschaft optimal nutzen kann.<\/em><\/h4>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n

\"Nach drei Jahren intensiver Arbeit haben wir ein Reihe von Ressourcen<\/a> die f\u00fcr alle offen ist\", sagte Hans Wortman, 4evergreen-Vorsitzender<\/strong>. \"Jetzt sind die Unternehmen, Partner und Beh\u00f6rden am Zug, sie zu nutzen und den Weg in die gr\u00fcne Zukunft Europas weiter zu ebnen.<\/p>\n

Da in derselben Woche im Europ\u00e4ischen Parlament \u00fcber die Verordnung \u00fcber Verpackungen und Verpackungsabf\u00e4lle (PPWR) abgestimmt wurde, war ein H\u00f6hepunkt der Konferenz ein politisches Panel, das sich mit der Frage besch\u00e4ftigte, wie faserhaltige Verpackungen in der neuen politischen Landschaft weiterhin eine f\u00fchrende Rolle bei Nachhaltigkeit und Kreislaufwirtschaft spielen k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

\"Wir sind optimistisch, dass wir nach der Verabschiedung des Vorschlags f\u00fcr die Verordnung \u00fcber Verpackungen und Verpackungsabf\u00e4lle (PPWR) diese gemeinsam zum Erfolg f\u00fchren k\u00f6nnen. Wir sind uns bewusst, dass wir nicht \u00fcber alle L\u00f6sungen verf\u00fcgen, und verpflichten uns, mit der Industrie und den Umweltorganisationen im Gespr\u00e4ch zu bleiben. Gemeinsam wollen wir wirtschaftlich effiziente L\u00f6sungen finden, die mit den Nachhaltigkeitserwartungen der Verbraucher \u00fcbereinstimmen\", sagte Aurel Ciobanu Dordea, Direktor der Generaldirektion Umwelt und Kreislaufwirtschaft der Europ\u00e4ischen Kommission.<\/p>\n

In Anbetracht der steigenden Nachfrage nach nachhaltigen Verpackungen hat Sarah Price, 4evergreen Co-Vorsitzende, Michelle Gibbons<\/strong>Generaldirektor des Europ\u00e4ischen Markenverbandes (AIM), Arnas Liauksminas<\/strong>Attach\u00e9 f\u00fcr Umwelt, St\u00e4ndige Vertretung Litauens bei der EU, und Tahmid Chowdhury, Programmmanager am Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), er\u00f6rterten die Herausforderungen und Chancen f\u00fcr den Sektor. In den Gespr\u00e4chen wurde die Notwendigkeit einer verst\u00e4rkten Zusammenarbeit der Interessengruppen entlang der gesamten Wertsch\u00f6pfungskette hervorgehoben, um den Wandel voranzutreiben. Sie betonten auch die Schl\u00fcsselrolle der Verbraucher in diesem Prozess und die Herausforderung, einen systemischen Ansatz f\u00fcr die Kreislaufwirtschaft zu w\u00e4hlen und die Komplexit\u00e4t der Gesetzgebung zu bew\u00e4ltigen.<\/p>\n

Eine Reise zur Aufrechterhaltung hoher zirkul\u00e4rer Ambitionen <\/strong><\/p>\n

In den letzten drei Jahren hat 4evergreen an der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung seiner drei wichtigsten Ergebnisse f\u00fcr die Nachhaltigkeit von Verpackungen aus Fasern gearbeitet: das Recyclability Evaluation Protocol, die Circularity by Design Guideline und die Guidance on Improved Collection and Sorting. Auf der Konferenz zeigten 4evergreen-Experten, wie Unternehmen die Instrumente nutzen k\u00f6nnen, um die Recyclingergebnisse zu verbessern.<\/p>\n

Die Schaffung einer leicht zug\u00e4nglichen Toolbox ist von zentraler Bedeutung f\u00fcr das Ziel von 4evergreen, bis zum Jahr 2030 eine Recyclingquote von 90% f\u00fcr faserhaltige Verpackungen zu erreichen. Susanne Haase, Programmdirektorin von 4evergreen<\/strong>und die Vertreterinnen Regina Knoll (WestRock), Maria Holopainen (Stora Enso) und Gabriella Tomolillo (Tetra Pak) erinnerten an den Weg, den das B\u00fcndnis seit seinen Anf\u00e4ngen im Jahr 2020 zur\u00fcckgelegt hat, um dieses Ziel zu erreichen und auf die Fertigstellung der Toolbox hinzuarbeiten.<\/p>\n

  5. Wegweisendes Investitionsprojekt zur Erreichung unserer Hauptziele: DS Smith, Faser- und Papierentwicklungslabor, oder \"Fibre Lab\".<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Eine Sonderver\u00f6ffentlichung, die \"Bericht zum 3. Jahrestag\",<\/a> wurde mit Links zu allen 22 Rundschreiben der Mitglieder gestartet.<\/p>\n

    Den ganzen Tag \u00fcber hatten die Teilnehmer Gelegenheit, den Bericht zu lesen und beim Mittagessen und einem abschlie\u00dfenden Networking-Cocktail Kontakte zu kn\u00fcpfen und m\u00f6gliche Kooperationen zu diskutieren. Die Veranstaltung bot eine wertvolle Plattform f\u00fcr die direkte Interaktion mit politischen Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern und f\u00fcr gemeinsame Anstrengungen zum Aufbau einer st\u00e4rker kreislauforientierten Gesellschaft.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<\/div>\n
