F\u00fcr viele Briten ist der Valentinstag ein unverzichtbares Ereignis im Kalender. Er wird jedes Jahr am 14. Februar gefeiert. Der Ursprung dieses beliebten Ereignisses ist nicht allgemein bekannt, aber es gibt kaum Zweifel an seiner heutigen Bedeutung. Der Valentinstag ist gepr\u00e4gt von Liebesbekundungen an den Partner, die oft mit dem Austausch von Geschenken verbunden sind. Doch der gut gemeinte Geschenkekauf kann negative Auswirkungen auf unseren Planeten haben. Gl\u00fccklicherweise gibt es dank nachhaltiger L\u00f6sungen in der Verpackungsindustrie Grund zur Zuversicht, dass der Valentinstag ein Tag der Liebe f\u00fcr Ihren Partner und unseren Planeten sein kann.<\/p>\n

Wir haben vor kurzem eine Studie in Auftrag gegeben, in der mehr als 5000 Verbraucher, darunter 1008 britische B\u00fcrger, zu ihrer Einstellung gegen\u00fcber der Umwelt und ihrer Wahrnehmung von Verpackungen befragt wurden, und die Ergebnisse brachten viele interessante Erkenntnisse. Wenn es um Verpackungen geht, sind die Briten bereit, ihren Beitrag f\u00fcr die Umwelt zu leisten. So haben sie beispielsweise ihre Vorliebe f\u00fcr Karton, die \u00f6kologisch ausgewogenste Verpackung, nachdr\u00fccklich unter Beweis gestellt: 79% gaben an, dass sie ihn Plastik vorziehen w\u00fcrden. Das verhei\u00dft Gutes f\u00fcr die diesj\u00e4hrigen Festivit\u00e4ten.<\/p>\n

Dar\u00fcber hinaus haben die Briten deutlich gezeigt, dass die Umwelt auch nach dem Verzehr der Schokolade, dem Auspacken des Schmucks und dem Aufspr\u00fchen des Parfums eine wichtige Rolle spielt. 85% nannten \"leicht zu recyceln\" als wichtiges Verpackungsmerkmal, noch vor \"das Produkt sch\u00fctzen\" (75%), w\u00e4hrend fast die H\u00e4lfte (46%)% erkl\u00e4rte, dass die Umweltauswirkungen der Verpackung eines Produkts in den letzten 12 Monaten wichtiger geworden sind.<\/p>\n

Wenn diese Ergebnisse die Marken nicht aufhorchen lassen, werden es wahrscheinlich die folgenden sein. Trotz der Lebenshaltungskostenkrise haben 43% der britischen Verbraucher eine Marke speziell wegen der verwendeten Verpackung gew\u00e4hlt, w\u00e4hrend fast die H\u00e4lfte (42%) die Marke oder das Produkt aufgrund von Bedenken bez\u00fcglich der verwendeten Verpackung gewechselt hat. Dies wirft einige wichtige \u00dcberlegungen f\u00fcr Marken auf, nicht zuletzt, dass Investitionen in nachhaltige Verpackungen und ein breiteres Engagement f\u00fcr eine nachhaltigere Arbeitsweise nicht mehr eine Wahlm\u00f6glichkeit, sondern ein wirtschaftlicher Imperativ sind.<\/p>\n

Als Reaktion auf dieses Ph\u00e4nomen investieren Marken zunehmend in Karton, um ihre Produkte zu verpacken, und es ist wahrscheinlich, dass das kreisf\u00f6rmige Verpackungsmedium, das eine Recyclingquote von 82% aufweist, zum Valentinstag eine gro\u00dfe Rolle spielen wird. So hat sich der Schokoladenhersteller Lindt & Spr\u00fcngli in diesem Jahr daf\u00fcr entschieden, seine Schokoladen-Marienk\u00e4fer in Karton zu verpacken, w\u00e4hrend die deutsche Kosmetikmarke Dr. Grandel dies f\u00fcr ihre auff\u00e4lligen Gesundheitsprodukte tat. Beide Verpackungen wurden \u00fcbrigens bei der European Carton Excellence Award 2022 von Pro Carton mit Gold Award ausgezeichnet.<\/p>\n
