November 2022<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><em><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Eine neue Studie, die Cepi bei AFRY, einem skandinavischen Anbieter von Ingenieur- und Beratungsdienstleistungen, in Auftrag gegeben hat, zeigt das ungenutzte Potenzial von Papierfabriken als Drehscheiben f\u00fcr erneuerbare Energien. Die Zellstoff- und Papierindustrie k\u00f6nnte ihre Produktion von Strom und W\u00e4rme aus erneuerbaren Energien vor Ort steigern und durch einen \"Swing Capacity\"-Effekt \u00fcbersch\u00fcssige Energie an das Netz, nahe gelegene Stadtteile und andere Branchen verkaufen.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Die europ\u00e4ische Zellstoff- und Papierindustrie ist mit einem Anteil von \u00fcber 60% erneuerbarer Energien an ihrem Prim\u00e4renergieverbrauch bereits der gr\u00f6\u00dfte industrielle Prosumer von sauberen Energien. Proportional zu ihrer Gr\u00f6\u00dfe ist sie <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">ein gro\u00dfer industrieller Investor in die Dekarbonisierung<\/span><\/strong> seiner Prozesse, insbesondere durch die Erzeugung erneuerbarer Energie vor Ort. Das Unternehmen ist eine der Erfolgsgeschichten des europ\u00e4ischen Emissionshandelssystems (EU ETS), das Anreize f\u00fcr solche Investitionen bietet. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Die Autoren der Studie kommen zu dem Schluss, dass die Zellstoff- und Papierindustrie bis 2030 das Potenzial hat, ihre Strom- und W\u00e4rmeerzeugung aus erneuerbaren Energien vor Ort auf fast 31 TWh zu steigern. Dies entspricht 30% Strom und fast 6% W\u00e4rme, die im Jahr 2020 vor Ort erzeugt wurden. Um die notwendigen Investitionen zu mobilisieren, m\u00fcssten jedoch vorhersehbare EU-Vorschriften und z\u00fcgige Genehmigungsverfahren eingef\u00fchrt werden. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Die Studie bietet auch eine Sch\u00e4tzung des in verschiedenen Arten von Papierfabriken verf\u00fcgbaren Platzes f\u00fcr die Installation von Sonnenkollektoren oder Windturbinen, zus\u00e4tzlich zu anderen von den Autoren identifizierten L\u00f6sungen. Die in dem neuen Bericht skizzierten Energieerzeugungskapazit\u00e4ten k\u00f6nnen jedoch nicht schnell genug umgesetzt werden, um eine L\u00f6sung f\u00fcr die derzeitige Energiekrise zu bieten. Eine weit verbreitete Analyse zeigt jedoch, dass die Energiekosten in Europa zumindest in absehbarer Zukunft hoch bleiben werden, und <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">Investitionen in fossilfreie Energie werden der Industrie letztendlich die M\u00f6glichkeit bieten, sich anzupassen<\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">auf eine radikal ver\u00e4nderte Energielandschaft<\/span><\/strong>. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">In der Studie wurde auch die M\u00f6glichkeit untersucht, dass die Papierindustrie ihren eigenen Verbrauch senkt und den Anteil der erneuerbaren Energien erh\u00f6ht, den sie an das Netz, die umliegenden Gemeinden und m\u00f6glicherweise andere Industrien liefert. Die Autoren sch\u00e4tzen, dass diese \"Swing-Kapazit\u00e4t\" f\u00fcr eine durchschnittliche Papierfabrik regelm\u00e4\u00dfig 10% bis 20% erreichen k\u00f6nnte. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm; text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif; color: #333333;\">Aus einer breiteren Perspektive betrachtet, k\u00f6nnte der gleiche Effekt der Optimierung zwischen Materialproduktion und Energieerzeugung auch f\u00fcr die bei der Produktion anfallenden Biomasser\u00fcckst\u00e4nde gelten. Die Entwicklung neuer Produktanwendungen ist bereits weit fortgeschritten. Da erneuerbare Energien zunehmend verf\u00fcgbar sind und ihre Kosten in Zukunft sinken werden, <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">die Produktion<\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;\">von sekund\u00e4ren biobasierten Produkten und Materialien wird voraussichtlich den Wandel der Branche weiter vorantreiben<\/span><\/strong>.
