Juni 2022<\/p>\n<p>Die gestern in Br\u00fcssel versammelten Vertreter der europ\u00e4ischen Papierwertsch\u00f6pfungskette haben sich verpflichtet, bis 2030 76% des gesamten verbrauchten Papiers zu recyceln. Die Verpflichtung wurde im Rahmen der 8. Ausgabe des Europ\u00e4ischen Papierrecycling Awards eingegangen, bei der zwei Projekte, die neue Ma\u00dfst\u00e4be f\u00fcr das Papierrecycling setzen, die h\u00f6chste Auszeichnung der europ\u00e4ischen Papierrecyclinggemeinschaft erhielten. Die Videoaufzeichnung der Veranstaltung ist online verf\u00fcgbar.<\/p>\n<p>Die neue, ehrgeizige <strong>Verwertungsquote von 76%<\/strong>, die sich aus dem Anteil des recycelten Altpapiers am Gesamtverbrauch von Papier und Pappe errechnet, soll bis zum Jahr 2030 erreicht werden. <strong>Sie ist sowohl auf globaler Ebene als auch in den verschiedenen Materialindustrien die beste Leistung in ihrer Klasse,<\/strong>da Papier und Karton die am h\u00e4ufigsten recycelten Materialien in Europa sind.<\/p>\n<p>Diese Verpflichtung ist in der neuen Europ\u00e4ischen Erkl\u00e4rung zum Papierrecycling 2021-2030 niedergelegt, die heute ver\u00f6ffentlicht wurde. In dem Dokument werden Ma\u00dfnahmen zur Optimierung der Bewirtschaftung von Papier in jedem Schritt eines kontinuierlichen Recyclingkreislaufs dargelegt. Dies umfasst eine Vielzahl von Vorg\u00e4ngen, von der Herstellung von Papier und Karton \u00fcber die Verarbeitung zu Produkten und Druckerzeugnissen bis hin zu Sammlung, Sortierung und Recycling. Jeder Schritt in diesem Prozess ist ein eigenst\u00e4ndiger Industriezweig mit nur einem gewissen Ma\u00df an horizontaler Integration, so dass <strong>Zusammenarbeit ein Muss ist, um das ehrgeizige Recyclingziel zu erreichen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Laden Sie die Europ\u00e4ische Erkl\u00e4rung zum Papierrecycling 2021-2030 herunter.<\/p>\n<p>Die Industrien, die die Erkl\u00e4rung mitunterzeichnet haben, erkl\u00e4ren jedoch, dass <strong>mehrere beg\u00fcnstigende Bedingungen seitens der EU und der lokalen Beh\u00f6rden<\/strong> erf\u00fcllt werden m\u00fcssen. Dazu geh\u00f6rt auch, die Verwendung von Papierabf\u00e4llen f\u00fcr die energetische Verwertung einzuschr\u00e4nken und sicherzustellen, dass das Papier getrennt gesammelt wird, um die Qualit\u00e4t des Materials zu erhalten.<\/p>\n<p>Die getrennte Sammlung von Papier ist ebenfalls eine Voraussetzung f\u00fcr eine h\u00f6here Recyclingquote und muss weiter gef\u00f6rdert werden. Allerdings verschiebt <strong>die Papierwertsch\u00f6pfungskette auch die Grenzen daf\u00fcr, welche weiteren Produkte recycelt werden k\u00f6nnen und wie Papierabf\u00e4lle, die nicht in die getrennte Sammlung gelangen, zug\u00e4nglich gemacht werden k\u00f6nnen.<\/strong>Die siegreichen Projekte des Europ\u00e4ischen Papierrecycling Award gehen beide Herausforderungen an. EnEWA, ein vom deutschen Bundesministerium f\u00fcr Klimaschutz finanziertes Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekt, konzentriert sich auf die Optimierung der Sortierung, Reinigung und des Recyclings von Papier, auch wenn es mit anderen Haushalts- oder Gewerbeabf\u00e4llen vermischt ist.
