Energiepreissteigerungen, h\u00f6here Rohstoff- und Logistikpreise, Arbeitskr\u00e4ftemangel und Inflation haben in den letzten zwei Jahren das Umfeld f\u00fcr uns alle gepr\u00e4gt. Wir sind auch mit der Unsicherheit der EU-Gesetzgebung konfrontiert, die keine gute Grundlage f\u00fcr langfristige Investitionsentscheidungen bietet. Keiner dieser ung\u00fcnstigen Faktoren hat uns daran gehindert, mit voller Kapazit\u00e4t zu produzieren, um die steigende Nachfrage nach nachhaltigen Kartonverpackungen zu befriedigen.<\/p>\n<p>Unsere Industrie hat einmal mehr ihre Widerstandsf\u00e4higkeit angesichts von St\u00f6rungen bewiesen. Wir haben respektabel gek\u00e4mpft, um die hohe Nachfrage nach Karton in der ersten Jahresh\u00e4lfte zu befriedigen. Bei Frischfasern hat sich der Druck verringert, da freie russische Mengen f\u00fcr andere europ\u00e4ische M\u00e4rkte verf\u00fcgbar wurden. Bei den Recyclingfasern mussten wir uns auf gr\u00f6\u00dfere R\u00fcckschl\u00e4ge einstellen. Zun\u00e4chst stellte Baden Karton, belastet durch betr\u00e4chtliche Gaspreiserh\u00f6hungen, die Produktion ein, wodurch sch\u00e4tzungsweise 150.000 Tonnen WLC pro Jahr vom Markt genommen wurden, und in j\u00fcngster Zeit f\u00fchrte der Brand in der Recyclingkartonfabrik von RDM Blendecques zu einer vor\u00fcbergehenden Einstellung der Produktion. Erfreulicherweise sind die Prognosen f\u00fcr RDM gut, und es ist ermutigend, von den ehrgeizigen Pl\u00e4nen von RDM zu lesen, die Produktionskapazit\u00e4t f\u00fcr GD-Karton in den n\u00e4chsten drei Jahren um bis zu 200.000 t zu erweitern, wobei die Produktion in Blendecques Anfang n\u00e4chsten Jahres wieder aufgenommen werden soll.<\/p>\n<p>In der zweiten H\u00e4lfte des Jahres 2022 stehen wir vor \u00e4hnlichen Herausforderungen, erschwerend kommt die steigende Inflation hinzu. Es wird erwartet, dass sich dies durch Preiserh\u00f6hungen und eine geringere Kaufkraft der Verbraucher infolge sinkender Realeinkommen nachteilig auswirkt. Dies wird sich wahrscheinlich darin \u00e4u\u00dfern, dass weniger Luxusg\u00fcter und nicht lebensnotwendige G\u00fcter gekauft werden, da die Europ\u00e4er mit einem noch nie dagewesenen Anstieg der Lebenshaltungskosten konfrontiert sind. Wie und in welchem Umfang sich dies auf unsere Branche auswirkt, bleibt abzuwarten.<\/p>\n<p>Der Krieg in der Ukraine, das Wiederauftreten von Covid-Infektionsraten und der Tsunami von EU-Vorschriften sorgen f\u00fcr weitere Unsicherheit auf dem Markt.<\/p>\n<p>Sicher ist jedoch, dass sich die Kartonindustrie auch in Zukunft auf kommende Krisen einstellen und in jeder Hinsicht beweglich bleiben wird. Wir haben immer wieder bewiesen, dass wir im Angesicht von Widrigkeiten widerstandsf\u00e4hig und hartn\u00e4ckig sind, und ich bin zuversichtlich, dass wir aus dieser Situation st\u00e4rker als je zuvor hervorgehen werden.<\/p>\n<p>Die Nachfrage nach Verpackungen auf Faserbasis steigt weiter an, da die gr\u00f6\u00dften Einzelh\u00e4ndler und Marken der Welt darauf bedacht sind, ihr Nachhaltigkeitsprofil zu untermauern.
