Eine Frage, die oft gestellt wird, ist, wie der Kohlenstoff-Fu\u00dfabdruck von Karton (326 kg CO2 pro Tonne Karton) im Vergleich zu Verpackungen auf fossiler Basis aussieht. Pro Carton hat k\u00fcrzlich eine Studie durchgef\u00fchrt, die nicht nur die ver\u00f6ffentlichten Daten zum CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck pro Tonne Material vergleicht, sondern auch den CO2-Fu\u00dfabdruck pro Einheit betrachtet. Es wurden vier Produkte verglichen, eines in einer \u00fcberwiegend aus Kunststoff bestehenden Verpackung und eines aus Karton f\u00fcr drei Lebensmittel und ein Non-Food-Produkt. Die Ergebnisse sind sehr g\u00fcnstig f\u00fcr Karton, selbst wenn man nur die jeweiligen fossilen Treibhausgasemissionen vergleicht. Die Analyse wurde von RISE, dem schwedischen Forschungsinstitut, durchgef\u00fchrt und von Intertek, einem f\u00fchrenden Anbieter von Total Quality Assurance, begutachtet.<\/p>\n
