Lassen Sie mich das erkl\u00e4ren:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>4evergreen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Die 4evergreen-Initiative wurde am 25. Mai offiziell der \u00d6ffentlichkeit vorgestellt.<sup>th<\/sup> November 2020.  Der Allianz geh\u00f6ren inzwischen 54 Mitglieder an, von Einzelh\u00e4ndlern bis hin zu Waldbesitzern, darunter auch mehrere Pro Carton-Mitglieder.  Ihre Vision ist es, die Kreislauff\u00e4higkeit von Verpackungen auf Faserbasis zu perfektionieren, um zu einer klimaneutralen und nachhaltigen Gesellschaft beizutragen.<\/p>\n<p>Zurzeit laufen vier Arbeitsgruppen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Die Entwicklung eines standardisierten, \u00f6ffentlich zug\u00e4nglichen EU-Pr\u00fcfprotokolls f\u00fcr die Recyclingf\u00e4higkeit<\/li>\n<li>Die Entwicklung von Leitlinien mit detaillierten Ratschl\u00e4gen f\u00fcr die Gestaltung von Verpackungen und Materialien mit besonderem Augenmerk auf die Erleichterung von Sammlung, Sortierung und Recycling<\/li>\n<li>Erstellung von Leitlinien zur Erreichung des gew\u00fcnschten Zustands f\u00fcr die Sammlung und Sortierung aller Faserverpackungen auf der Grundlage der Recyclingm\u00f6glichkeiten und der Kompatibilit\u00e4t der verschiedenen Sorten<\/li>\n<li>Unterst\u00fctzung der wissenschaftlichen Forschung im Bereich des Material- und Prozessrecyclings, neuer Technologien f\u00fcr Sortierung und Recycling sowie der Grundlagenforschung zu Themen im Zusammenhang mit der Kreislauff\u00e4higkeit von Fasern<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pro Carton kann als Handelsverband nicht Mitglied von 4evergreen sein, aber ich sitze im Koordinierungsausschuss der Industrieverb\u00e4nde, der regelm\u00e4\u00dfig vom 4Evergreen-Programmdirektor informiert wird und 4evergreen in kategoriespezifischen Fragen ber\u00e4t.<\/p>\n<p><strong>GreenSource<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pro Carton hat sich zusammen mit EPIS (European Pulp Industry Sector) zu einem <em>Anf\u00fchrer<\/em> in der gemeinsam mit Cepi geleisteten Arbeit zur F\u00f6rderung der Vorteile forstbasierter Produkte bei Politikern und Entscheidungstr\u00e4gern in der EU.  Die GreenSource-Initiative wurde Anfang des Jahres gestartet, wobei Pro Carton im November seine Unterst\u00fctzung zugesagt hat.  In Zusammenarbeit mit Cepi und EPIS haben wir bereits eine neue PR-Agentur beauftragt, mit der wir im Januar zusammenarbeiten werden.  Ihr Auftrag besteht darin, Materialien f\u00fcr die sozialen Medien zu erstellen, die \u00fcber die Branche und forstbasierte Produkte aufkl\u00e4ren und die Branche als wichtigen Akteur zur Erreichung der EU-Klimaneutralit\u00e4tsziele positionieren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>CITPA<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Obwohl CITPA\u00b2 in erster Linie ein Forum f\u00fcr Verb\u00e4nde ist, die Verarbeiter in der Papierindustrie vertreten, ist Pro Carton als assoziiertes Mitglied ein aktiver Teilnehmer.  CITPA verfolgt die wichtigsten Entwicklungen in der EU-Gesetzgebung und liefert der Kommission und ihren verschiedenen Partnern branchenweite Antworten auf Fragen, die ihre Mitglieder betreffen.  Auf der Agenda von CITPA stehen derzeit die folgenden Green-Deal-Politiken, die alle mit hoher Priorit\u00e4t behandelt werden:<\/p>\n<p><em>EU-Klimagesetz f\u00fcr Klimaneutralit\u00e4t bis 2050 \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>EU-Industriestrategie \u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Neuer Aktionsplan f\u00fcr die Kreislaufwirtschaft \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00dcberpr\u00fcfung der Abfallgesetzgebung (einschlie\u00dflich SUPD)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Farm-to-Fork-Strategie \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Chemikalienstrategie f\u00fcr Nachhaltigkeit<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dar\u00fcber hinaus verfolgt CITPA die politische Entwicklung des Mechanismus zur Anpassung der Kohlenstoffgrenze (Cepi antwortete der Kommission im November in dieser Angelegenheit), die <em>neue EU-Forststrategie<\/em> und auch <em>Entwaldungsfreie Wertsch\u00f6pfungsketten.<\/em> CITPA ist auch in Fragen der Produktsicherheit aktiv (z.B. deutsche Mineral\u00f6lverordnung) und arbeitet mit der Packaging Ink Joint Industry Task Force (PIJITF) zusammen.<\/p>\n<p>Cepi nimmt inzwischen eine breitere Perspektive ein, die die gesamte Papierindustrie vertritt, und auch die Zusammenarbeit und Einbeziehung von Pro Carton in einschl\u00e4gigen Fragen funktioniert inzwischen gut.<\/p>\n<p>Den wichtigsten Schriftverkehr von CITPA und Cepi finden Sie hier <a href=\"https:\/\/www.procarton.com\/publications-news\/news-archive\/\">auf der Website von Pro Carton<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PEF<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pro Carton hat zusammen mit CCB\/FEFCO und CEPI-Eurokraft\/Eurosac RISE beauftragt, eine Studie durchzuf\u00fchren, um zu untersuchen, inwieweit die derzeitigen Ans\u00e4tze zur Erstellung der Lebenszyklusinventare und des Kohlenstoff-Fu\u00dfabdrucks der einzelnen Sektoren den Anforderungen der Produkt-Umwelt-Fu\u00dfabdruck-Kategorie-Regeln (PEFCR) f\u00fcr Papierzwischenprodukte entsprechen oder davon abweichen.<\/p>\n<p>Hintergrund dieser Arbeit ist, dass wir, wie auch die anderen beteiligten Verb\u00e4nde, seit vielen Jahren eine Gate-to-Gate-\u00d6kobilanz f\u00fcr unsere jeweiligen Materialien und Verpackungsl\u00f6sungen erstellen. Diese \u00d6koinventare werden f\u00fcr die Erstellung von sektoralen \u00d6kobilanzen verwendet und auch externen Fachleuten f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung von \u00d6kobilanzstudien zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt (z. B. durch Aufnahme in die Ecoinvent-Datenbank). Dar\u00fcber hinaus werden die Inventare auch zur Berechnung des Kohlenstoff-Fu\u00dfabdrucks f\u00fcr jeden Sektor verwendet.<\/p>\n<p>Die Europ\u00e4ische Kommission hat jedoch an der Entwicklung und Einf\u00fchrung einer gemeinsamen Methode zur Quantifizierung der Umweltauswirkungen von Produkten gearbeitet. Es scheint immer wahrscheinlicher, dass dieser Product Environment Footprint (PEF)-Ansatz in irgendeiner Form verbindlich wird, wenn Unternehmen Umweltaussagen \u00fcber ihre Produkte oder Materialien machen wollen.<\/p>\n<p>Die Studie, die den Mitgliedern im Januar zur Verf\u00fcgung stehen wird, zielt darauf ab, etwaige L\u00fccken in den derzeit angewandten Methoden, notwendige \u00c4nderungen bei k\u00fcnftigen Datenerhebungen und Vorschl\u00e4ge zu ermitteln, wie sichergestellt werden kann, dass der vorteilhafte Kohlenstoff-Fu\u00dfabdruck der Papierverpackungsindustrie vollst\u00e4ndig anerkannt wird.<\/p>\n<p><strong>E-vent<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nicht zuletzt war die 2020 Carton E-vent und Awards eine sehr sichtbare Ausstellung der engen Zusammenarbeit zwischen ECMA und Pro Carton.  Unser Ziel als zwei Organisationen, die beide die Interessen von Karton- und Faltschachtelherstellern vertreten, ist es, uns gegenseitig zu erg\u00e4nzen (mit einem e, nicht mit einem i geschrieben!) und einen Synergieeffekt zu schaffen, der unsere Branche breiter und st\u00e4rker repr\u00e4sentiert, als es jeder Verband f\u00fcr sich allein tun k\u00f6nnte.
