Die Gewinner des j\u00e4hrlichen Pro Carton Young Designers Award wurden offiziell bekannt gegeben, wobei Studenten aus \u00d6sterreich und Deutschland die vier h\u00f6chsten Auszeichnungen erhielten.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Gemeinsam mit den anderen Finalisten wurden die Designer und ihre Tutoren am 19. September beim Awards-Gala-Dinner in Malta geehrt, wo sie die Gelegenheit hatten, mit den f\u00fchrenden Vertretern der gr\u00f6\u00dften europ\u00e4ischen Kartonhersteller und -verarbeiter in Kontakt zu treten - ein m\u00f6glicher erster Schritt in ihre berufliche Laufbahn.<\/p>\n

Der diesj\u00e4hrige Wettbewerb, bei dem die n\u00e4chste Generation innovativer und nachhaltiger Verpackungskonzepte vorgestellt wurde, war hei\u00df umk\u00e4mpft und verzeichnete eine Rekordzahl von Einsendungen. Insgesamt wurden 461 Entw\u00fcrfe eingereicht, die von 70 Universit\u00e4ten und Designschulen aus 24 europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern stammten.<\/p>\n

Der Preis f\u00fcr kreative Kartonverpackungen f\u00fcr Lebensmittel und Getr\u00e4nke Award ging an Martin Winner, So Hyeon Kim und Nguyet Nguyen aus Deutschland f\u00fcr ihren Beitrag Ploffie, eine neuartige Verpackung f\u00fcr N\u00fcsse. Die Verpackungsl\u00f6sung verf\u00fcgt \u00fcber einen einzigartigen \u00d6ffnungsmechanismus und ein aufmerksamkeitsstarkes Design, das das volle Potenzial von Karton demonstriert. Beim ersten \u00d6ffnen fungiert die perforierte Lasche als Originalit\u00e4tsverschluss. Anschlie\u00dfend kann die Faltschachtel zusammengedr\u00fcckt werden, um die Verpackung mit einem Knall zu \u00f6ffnen und zu schlie\u00dfen. Nach dem \u00d6ffnen dient der Karton als cleverer Spender, der es Kindern und Erwachsenen leicht macht, die N\u00fcsse auszusch\u00fctten.<\/p>\n

Sonja Herr, Liane Jehle und Philipp Tretter aus Deutschland gewannen den Preis \"Kreative Kartonverpackung f\u00fcr alle anderen Produkte\" Award f\u00fcr ihren Beitrag Le Paonneau, der die Jury mit seinem theatralischen Design begeisterte. Die kreative Verpackung f\u00fcr eine Schere bietet ein einfaches und unterhaltsames \u00d6ffnungserlebnis, das den Mechanismus einer Schere nachahmt, wobei sich ein wundersch\u00f6ner Pfauenf\u00e4cher entfaltet.<\/p>\n

Der begehrte \"Save the Planet\" Award ging an Alessia Businaro aus \u00d6sterreich. Ihr \"Powder Stories\"-Beitrag zielte darauf ab, das Problem der Lidschattenpaletten-Verpackung zu l\u00f6sen, bei der ihrer Meinung nach durchschnittlich 20 g Hartplastik pro Einheit f\u00fcr nur 3 g Produkt verwendet werden. Die Jury war der Meinung, dass ihre innovative neue L\u00f6sung \"einen gro\u00dfen Einfluss auf die Branche haben k\u00f6nnte\", da sie sicherstellt, dass das verwendete Plastik - das nur vorhanden ist, damit die Verbraucher die Farbe des Produkts sehen k\u00f6nnen - auf ein Minimum reduziert wird.<\/p>\n

Die Gewinnerin des Preises \"Kreative Kartonideen\", Mariella Drechsler aus \u00d6sterreich, hat den Dustbuster entwickelt, den die Jury als \"\u00e4u\u00dferst einfallsreich und kreativ\" bezeichnete. Die Heimwerkerhilfe, die ein staubfreies Bohren garantiert, kann dank einer speziellen Klebebeschichtung mehrfach verwendet werden und der Staub l\u00e4sst sich dank der au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlichen Falttechnik leicht entleeren.<\/p>\n

Als Teil ihres Preises k\u00f6nnen sich die siegreichen Jungdesigner auf eine Reise nach Schweden freuen, um wertvolle Einblicke in zwei f\u00fchrende europ\u00e4ische Kartonunternehmen zu gewinnen: die Kartonfabrik Stora Enso und AR Packaging. Sie werden den gesamten Prozess vom skandinavischen Wald bis hin zur fertig bedruckten Packung miterleben.<\/p>\n

Das Public Award zog Tausende von Stimmen auf sich, wobei der von Sabine Gradinger und Elisabeth Hahn entworfene Honey Cube als klarer Sieger hervorging.<\/p>\n
