{"id":242339,"date":"2018-06-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2018-06-14T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.procarton.com\/pcyda-a-record-number-of-entries\/"},"modified":"2021-11-05T18:10:30","modified_gmt":"2021-11-05T18:10:30","slug":"pcyda-a-record-number-of-entries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.procarton.com\/de\/pcyda-a-record-number-of-entries\/","title":{"rendered":"#pcyda: Eine Rekordzahl von Eintr\u00e4gen!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Die Zahl der Bewerbungen f\u00fcr den Pro Carton Young Designers Award (#pcyda) hat sich in diesem Jahr mehr als verdoppelt: Es gingen \u00fcber 400 Bewerbungen aus 20 L\u00e4ndern ein, an denen mehr als 50 Designschulen und Universit\u00e4ten teilnahmen.\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Die Finalisten und die Gesamtsieger werden ihre Auszeichnungen auf der Award-Gala am 20. September auf dem Kongress der European Carton Makers Association (ECMA) in Riga\/Lettland erhalten.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Zur Award-Gala werden nicht nur die 10 Finalisten, sondern auch ihre Tutoren eingeladen, um zu sehen, wer die 4 Hauptpreise erh\u00e4lt. Hier ist, was die Juroren nach dem Treffen zu sagen hatten:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Kommentiert Satkar Gidda von der internationalen Marken- und Verpackungsdesignberatung SiebertHead und Vorsitzender der Jury: \"<em>Es hat etwas sehr Erfreuliches, wenn man ein Kartonkonzept oder eine Konstruktion sieht, von der man nie gedacht h\u00e4tte, dass man sie auf eine bestimmte Weise verwenden k\u00f6nnte. Der einfache Weg, dies auszudr\u00fccken, ist zu sagen: \"Das habe ich noch nie gesehen\", und obwohl es mehrere davon gab, war es auch offensichtlich, dass einige Sch\u00fcler einen Bedarf oder ein spezifisches Problem erkannt und etwas geschaffen hatten, um dieses Problem zu l\u00f6sen.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Lotte Krekels von Carrefour, Belgien: <em>\"Ich glaube, die Anmeldungen waren in diesem Jahr sehr hoch, und es gab bereits viele Packungen, die bereit waren, in die Regale gestellt zu werden. Es war also eine ziemlich schwierige Arbeit f\u00fcr uns in diesem Jahr. Es war sehr beeindruckend, was die Sch\u00fclerinnen und Sch\u00fcler geleistet haben.\"<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Neu in der Jury f\u00fcr 2018 waren Andrea Bottan von Nestl\u00e9 und Philipp Freym\u00fcller, Business Unit Director von Mayr-Melnhof Packaging International:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Andrea Bottan: <em>\"Es war f\u00fcr mich beeindruckend, eine solche Vielfalt an Konzepten und Ideen zu sehen, die viele Diskussionen ausl\u00f6sten. Es ist sch\u00f6n zu sehen, wie viel M\u00fche sich die Sch\u00fcler geben, diese neuen Ideen zu entwickeln.<\/em><\/li>\n<li>Philipp Freym\u00fcller: <em>\"Ich war beeindruckt von der schieren Anzahl der Beitr\u00e4ge, es war wirklich erstaunlich, die verschiedenen Konzepte und Innovationen zu sehen. Einige dieser Produkte habe ich noch nie im Laden gesehen. Ich kann nur sagen, dass ich dem Preisverleihungsprogramm zu diesem gro\u00dfen Erfolg gratuliere. Hoffentlich wird es auch in Zukunft so weitergehen.\"<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Die Jury hat eine Auswahlliste von 24 Entw\u00fcrfen f\u00fcr das \u00f6ffentliche Award ausgew\u00e4hlt, \u00fcber die ab Anfang Juli unter <a href=\"http:\/\/www.procarton.com\">www.procarton.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Der Beginn einer gro\u00dfen Karriere<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Der Hauptpreis f\u00fcr die vier Kategoriensieger ist ein Besuch der Mets\u00e4 Board Mill in Finnland sowie ein Praktikum beim internationalen Kartonhersteller Mayr-Melnhof Packaging in \u00d6sterreich. Der Wettbewerb erm\u00f6glicht es jungen Designern, mit f\u00fchrenden Unternehmen der Branche in Kontakt zu treten - ein erster Schritt in die Gesch\u00e4ftswelt und in eine berufliche Karriere. Der PCYDA ist inzwischen fester Bestandteil des Lehrplans vieler Universit\u00e4ten und Hochschulen, was sich in der wachsenden Zahl der teilnehmenden Einrichtungen widerspiegelt.<\/p>\n<p><strong>National Awards<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Neben dem europ\u00e4ischen Awards wurde die Jury auch gebeten, die Gewinner von drei nationalen Preisen auszuw\u00e4hlen.  Es ist das erste Jahr, in dem ein Preis speziell f\u00fcr Studierende in Deutschland vergeben wird. Der britische Preis wurde zum zweiten Mal vergeben, w\u00e4hrend der \u00f6sterreichische Wettbewerb gut etabliert ist und seit mehreren Jahren sehr erfolgreich durchgef\u00fchrt wird.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stimmen Sie f\u00fcr Ihre Favoriten!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aber zuerst sind Sie an der Reihe: Die \u00f6ffentliche Award-Abstimmung beginnt Anfang Juli.
