\"Die ECMA vertritt 500 Kartonhersteller im gesamten EWR, die etwa 70% des gesamten europ\u00e4ischen Kartonmarktes nach Volumen abdecken und derzeit rund 45.000 Menschen besch\u00e4ftigen.
\nDie ECMA ist sehr optimistisch, was die aktuelle und kurzfristige Gesundheit der europ\u00e4ischen Kartonindustrie angeht. Die steigende Nachfrage der Verbraucher nach nachhaltigen Verpackungsl\u00f6sungen verschafft den Kartonherstellern eine starke Position, was wiederum die Innovation in der Verpackungsentwicklung beschleunigt.<\/p>\n

In den Jahren 2015 und 2016 war die Branche stabil, gefolgt von einem ermutigenden Wachstum von rund 2,5% im gesamten Sektor im Jahr 2017. Dieses Wachstum zeigt keine Anzeichen einer Verlangsamung im Jahr 2018 und scheint sich sogar zu beschleunigen, da viele Endverbraucher einen Wechsel zu Karton in Betracht ziehen, um Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen zu unterst\u00fctzen. Zu den Sektoren mit dem st\u00e4rksten Wachstum der Kartonnachfrage geh\u00f6ren Food-to-Go, Frischprodukte sowie Gesundheit und Sch\u00f6nheit.<\/p>\n

Um jedoch wirklich einen langfristigen Erfolg zu erzielen, insbesondere angesichts der zunehmenden Aufmerksamkeit f\u00fcr Verpackungen und ihrer Position als wertvolle Ressource in den Medien, m\u00fcssen die Hersteller mit der Regierung und der Recyclingindustrie zusammenarbeiten, um die \u00d6ffentlichkeit \u00fcber Verpackungen aufzukl\u00e4ren und Investitionen in eine verbesserte Infrastruktur f\u00fcr die Wiederaufbereitung von Abf\u00e4llen zu f\u00f6rdern.<\/p>\n

Grunds\u00e4tzlich steht die Verpackung im Allgemeinen im Rampenlicht, daher m\u00fcssen wir sicherstellen, dass wir unsere positive Geschichte als Industrie klar erz\u00e4hlen. Anstatt zu versuchen, ein Material durch ein anderes zu ersetzen, sollte der Schwerpunkt auf der Verbesserung der Infrastruktur f\u00fcr die Wiederaufbereitung von Abf\u00e4llen und der Verwendung der richtigen Substrate f\u00fcr die richtigen Aufgaben liegen. Eine st\u00e4rkere Aufkl\u00e4rung der \u00d6ffentlichkeit und der Medien \u00fcber diese Themen ist f\u00fcr den Erfolg von Nachhaltigkeitsinitiativen unerl\u00e4sslich.<\/p>\n

Die Zusammenarbeit zwischen den Herstellern aller Materialien in der Verpackungsindustrie, der Regierung und der Recyclingindustrie ist auch wichtig, um die europ\u00e4ische Nachhaltigkeitssituation insgesamt zu verbessern und eine starke gemeinsame Stimme zu bilden, um sich f\u00fcr Infrastrukturinvestitionen einzusetzen.<\/p>\n
