The jury of the Student Video Award will consist of experts from the advertising, film and cartonboard industry.
BADY MINCK
Bady Minck is an awarded Film director, producer and Jury member of many international Film Festivals. Her movies were invited to more than 900 international film festivals, including Cannes, Berlin and Toronto. She is the CEO of the film production company AMOUR FOU Luxembourg. In 2013 she co-produced Hannah Arendt, which premiered in Toronto and had more than 450.000 theatre visitors in Germany and 300.000 in France.
SIMON BOLTON
Simon started his professional life as a graduate trainee at Ogilvy & Mather, where he worked for 15 years across their London, Bangkok and New York offices. He then lived and worked in Singapore, Malaysia and San Francisco with other international advertising agencies before returning to the UK to take up the reins at JWT, overseeing their offices in London, Manchester and Ireland. In 2007 he was appointed by WPP to lead major design agencies Brand Union, FITCH and Set Creative as Global CEO. He retired from WPP in 2020 and has since become a strategy and alignment coach based in Stockholm, Sweden and sits on the boards of esteemed Scandinavian agencies: EVERLAND, Kontrapunkt, and Kapero. Simon has served as Head of Training & Development for the IPA (Institute of Practitioners in Advertising) and been a judge of the EFFIE, DBA, Clio and BAD Awards.
TONY HITCHIN
Tony worked in the food industry for over twenty years holding a variety of Director level positions in Marketing, Sales and General Management and oversaw many multi-million pound advertising campaigns, even shooting one commercial in Australia. He moved into packaging in 2003 when he joined Field Group (which became Chesapeake, then MPS and now WestRock) holding a number of different Divisional and Group directorial positions working on a pan-European basis. He started his own marketing consultancy in 2014 and took on the role as General Manager for Pro Carton in January 2017. He has been a judge in the North American Paperboard Packaging Competition three times.
