Pro Carton is presenting two books on creative design with paper and cartonboard with wonderful pieces of work by various artists: "Papercraft" and "Papercraft 2", include some exceptionally impressive work which may act as encouragement for new developments.

The books provide a comprehensive insight into the enormous creative potential of the material and reveal how paper and cartonboard are firing up the imaginations of today's designers and artists. While the most obvious technique, origami, has been around for hundreds of years, advances in mathematics have allowed for evermore-intricate folding patterns.

In a time where everything is digitalised, paper and cartonboard are gaining momentum as an antipode to the infinite flexibility of bit-based reproduction.
