Social responsibility
Environmental impact is becoming increasingly important throughout the supply chain. All parts of the supply chain have a responsibility to minimise this and carton packaging offers the most considerate solution. Cartons are made from a renewable resource that is carefully managed to ensure that more trees are planted than are used. In addition, over 50% of all cartonboard used in Europe is made from recycled paper and board. And concerning the packaging end of life, efficient recovery and recycling systems are in place in Europe that deliver excellent results in paper and board packaging recovery.
In summary, cartonboard is lightweight, renewable, recyclable, and so socially responsible.
